Girls' Brigade Juniors

This section is for Girls aged 8 up to 11 years of age. We meet on Thursdays from 6.00pm to 7:30pm.

The Juniors take part in many activities on an evening and are also involved in other Brigade activities.
Juniors play various games which are fun and gives them a chance to burn some energy off.
As with the Explorers the Juniors also do art and craft but a bit more challenging and suitable for their age.
The Juniors have the chance to earn badges and awards, this is achieved either by project work or activities.

They can join the 1st Kidderminster Brigade band which meets on a Tuesday night, see the link for more about the band.

Juniors have the opportunity to go on a annual weekend camp and take part in company sleepovers.

Camp 17th-19th March 2006

The Juniors went to Malvern for this camp. They stayed at the church where 1st Malvern Company meet.

They went from Milton Hall on the Friday night and arrived at around 8pm. Once there it was time to set up, get ready for bed and have supper before going to bed (note we did not say they went to sleep! the girl's were very excited about being away from home).

The next day as always the girl's were awake bright and early, they got up, had breakfast and played some games. Then the staff made some packed lunches and it was time to head out.

The girl's went to Malvern Splash and walking on the Malvern hills on this camp.

The girl's returned tired but happy on the Sunday afternoon.
